There are several places you can swim in summer and winter!

Indoor pool between Thonen les Bains and Evian les Bains – Cité de l’eau
Situated near Lake Geneva, between Thonen les Bains and Evian les Bains, this gym and pool is just over half an hours drive from Les Iris and a lot of fun for children.

Outdoor pool in Evian
At Evian on Lake Geneva is a lovely outdoor pool complex on the shores of the lake.

Outdoor pool in Morzine
Morzine has an outdoor water park which is open in July and August. There is an Olympic sized pool, a smaller pool, a paddling pool and a water slide. The address details are:

Lake Montriond and the Ardent Waterfall
Swimming at Lake MontriondLake Montriond is a beautiful stretch of water with a public swimming and picnic area and signposted walks which take in the thundering Ardents waterfall. Life guards are on duty every day in the swimming areas at the lake during July and August.

In the winter you can also scuba dive under the ice of Lake Montriond. In winter the ice is over a 30 cm thick and the water a cosy 1C degree above freezing.

Lake Geneva
A great place for many outdoor activities, it is also a great place to swim. Just stop on the lake side between Thonen Les Bains and Evian for a swim.

Waterpark Bouveret Switzerland – Aqua Parc

Please note that men must wear a Speedo or brief-style swim suits in public pools. Trunks (boxer shorts-style) and cut-down jeans are prohibited for “hygienic reasons”.
