The Devil’s Bridge Gorges
Come and see the stunning marble rock faces by the river Dranse.
The Devil’s Bridge Gorges (or in French les Gorges du pont du diable) was visited as early as 1893 and has now been made accessible to the public, offering the visitor a gripping demonstration of the power of hundreds of thousands of years of erosion. The jagged profile of the gorge and their shaded colours give the site a strange and eerie appearance which is emphasised by the magnificent surrounding forests.
A visit takes approximately 50 minutes.
Open from the end of April to 30th September from 9am to 6pm.
