• Skiing – in many resorts in the area from the local ski resorts in Drouzin le Mont, Abundance and Saint Jean d’Aulps to the full Portes du Soleil, one of the largest linked ski areas in the world with over 650km of prepared pistes is only a 20 minute drive away from Les Iris
• Snowshoe walking, which is fun for everyone
• Walking
• Sledging and tobogganing
• Cross-county or telemark skiing
• Dog-sleigh with a team of Huskies
• Ice scuba-diving for you real adrenaline junkies in the nearby lake Montriod. In winter the ice is over a 30 cm thick and the water a cosy 1C degree above freezing
• Fishing
• Hot air ballooning
• Para-gliding
